Greeting
We were founded in Sakai City, the city of knives in October 1945, the year World war Ⅱ ended, and started by Usaburo Hayashi and his eldest son, Mitsuji under the name “HAYASHI Kanamono.”
Initially, we opened as a wholesale dealer, primarily handling kitchen knives and construction hand tools. In the 1950s we focused on selling Makita power tools and have grown into a specialized distributer for construction tools including a wide variety of power tool accessories and peripheral tools.
We strive daily to provide professional users with products they can be satisfied with. Based on valuable feedback from our users, we are focusing on planning and developing more attractive products. We are also actively working toward producing our own line of original products.
Regarding logistics and delivery, in addition to our West Japan Logistics Center in Miki, Hyogo and the East Japan Logistics Center in Yashio, Saitama, we opened a new North Japan Logistics Center in Sanjo, Niigata in June 2025. We are committed to improving our services to maintain a sufficient stock of safe and trustworthy products, and to deliver them to our customers as quickly as possible.
We are also positively working on enhancing various employee benefits to create a workplace and environment where they can feel motivated and work comfortably, considering work-life balance.
Moving forward, we aim to continue contributing to our local community and grow into a company that is even more trusted and loved by our neighbors.
Thanks to all your support, we are able to celebrate our 80th anniversary in 2025. And now we are filled with gratitude for the support and patronage of our business partners and many others. We sincerely ask for your continued guidance and encouragement in the years to come.
